The Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region (ASGCR) is pleased to announce that its 10thAnniversary “Unlocking the Possibilities Gala” will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Glen Sanders Mansion, Scotia, New York. We will celebrate the evening with over 250 members, friends and community partners of the Autism Society who embody our promise to promote lifelong access and opportunities for people on the autism spectrum. We wanted to give your company an opportunity to get involved in this event which offers great exposure and a wonderful way for you to show your commitment to community participation and support. 

The “Unlocking the Possibilities Gala” is the ASGCR’s premier community partnership event. All proceeds benefit ASGCR’s autism awareness, education and support programs for children,youth and adults affected by autism and their families in the Greater Capital Region. 1 in 110 children are currently being diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, and of those 1 in 70 boys are affected. Early detection and intensive early treatment are vital to creating positive outcomes for individuals affected by autism. Receiving family support after an autism diagnosis has proven to increase the well being of families and improve their ability to care for their loved one with autism. Our community center provides autism education programs, individual and family support, and community programs which encourage empowerment, skill building, community awareness, hope and wellness. Your contribution will help us expand our support to even more children, youth, and adults affected by autism along with their family members and professionals who serve them.

Benefits ofsupporting the “Unlocking the Possibilities Gala”:  
  • Your company will be recognized on promotional materials received by the ASGCR members, community leaders and attendees; distributed throughout the community, locally and nationally before, during and after the Gala.  
  • Your contributions will be acknowledged at the Gala, in the event program book, newsletter, and on the ASGCR website. 
  • Your company’s logo will be displayed on promotional materials. 
  • All contributions to the “Unlocking the Possibilities Gala” are tax-deductible. 
You will also receive tickets to the Gala which includes cocktails, dinner, dancing, unique auction items, live music and, most importantly, a celebration of those affected by autism. Additionally, your company or organization will also receive a one year membership to the Autism Society of America. 

All contributions you make to the “Unlocking the Possibilities Gala”  will be used for the direct support and education of children, youth, adults and families affected by autism in the Greater Capital Region.  Your sponsorship will deliver tangible benefits for your company and be emotionally fulfilling. Because of the impact of autism on us all, the cause is paramount.
